Below are links to the various Chip Challenges I’ve held over the years. The rules are simply: package a single Pringles Potato Chip in a legal size envelope and send it through the US postal system. The container must be of your creation…no pre-created packaging allowed. As you can see, the results vary. If you choose to do this with your students, have individual chips placed in white envelopes and then put as many as you can in a manilla envelope for mailing. The cost of a single letter with a chip is about the same as 5+ white envelopes in a manilla envelope.
