Based on our discussion in class, review the calcium chloride, baking soda and universal indicator lab. Draw models, label and write an explanation of ALL the changes you observed. To get you started, here are some possible changes to model:
• The color change when the film canister first spilled.
• The creation of a gas that filled the bag.
• The change in temperature as the reaction occurred.
Watch this video on Analyzing and Interpreting Data. After watching it and taking notes in your notebook, write a brief description of data you have collected so far in class and how you have analyzed it.
Watch the video on Systems and System Models. Take notes in your notebook from the video. Think about the various activities we have done over the past few weeks. Choose ONE activity and identify the systems within the activity. Draw diagrams for each of the systems within the activity. Be sure to label.
Be sure your notebook is up-to-date.
