• Watch the Science Notebook video. Arrange your notebook according to the video.
• Here is the Chapter 1 Learner Goals page. Paste this in your notebook.
• Watch the Asking Questions and Defining Problems Science and Engineering Practice video. Open your notebook so that you see two blank pages. 
On the left side, paste the Asking Questions and Defining Problems Science and Engineering page. On the right hand side, take notes from the video. Try to get all the notes for all the practices on the right hand page. We will take about a month to get through all the Practices, so be patient and leave room for more to come.
• Read pages 1-15. Take notes in your notebook. Pay attention to the bold vocabulary words as you read and take notes. On page 32 of the text, do the following questions: 1.2; 1.4; 1.5; 1.9; 1.10; 1.11. Put the answers in your notebook.
